School Day
Our school day is as follows:
| 8.50am | Gates open |
Registration closes at 9.00am.
School starts at 9.00am and children should be ready to learn at 9.00am.
If children arrive after 9.00am then they must enter the school via the main office. Please note that children will be recorded as late if they arrive after registration has closed (9.05) and absent for the morning session if they arrive after 9.30am. |

Maths and English are predominantly taught in Sessions 1, 2 & 3 which are optimal learning times.
As staff cannot take responsibility for the safety of children before or after school hours, the children should not be on the school premises unaccompanied before 8:50 am or after 3:35 pm, unless specific requests have been made, or the child is taking part in an after-school activity. We appreciate your consideration and support.
The total weekly figure for the compulsory time pupils spend in school is 32.5 hours as per Government guidelines.
We strongly encourage all children to come in to the school independently in the mornings, where they will be met by school staff at the gates and designated classroom entrances.
